Things learned this weekend

-Professional Learning Communities: Teachers will now teach as teams and track their students to know if they have learned anything and which teachers are being more effective and better able to share techniques.
-No offense but I now suspect the area of Southern WI and the IL border to have a higher rate of crazy and somewhat vicious people then other parts of the state.
-The word Avon is from the Welch "afon" which is pronounced the same as Avon and means, literally, "river". So when you are saying the Avon River you are basically saying River River.
-Covered wagon trains are alive and well and are basically like those multi-night bike races that are a moving party.
-Looks can be deceiving.
